It’s in the bag, people. Ninety-Two West has signed on to manage the Public Relations and Social Media marketing for Tchoup Industries of New Orleans. We’ve been “potential client” crushin’ on Tchoup for a while now. We’ve always been a fan of and felt a kindred spirit in Tchoup – their mission, products, and branding – so our staff is just a little excited. Stay tuned for our first tour of their shop on St. Mary Street on Wednesday, October 19.
The Tchoup Raison D’etre:
Tchoup Industries’ mission is to build bags that support our Southern Louisiana community, that have a reduced impact on our natural environment, and that instill a spirit of exploration.
–What’s not to love there?
My personal Tchoup Backpack has served a purpose of high expectations. I can fit my workout gear and “work” gear all-in-one place, along with a few other necessities. You can ask the 92W staff here. I show it off a lot.
Be prepared to see more content and news about Tchoup from us, but in the mean time, go ahead and drool over their Instagram feed. It’s the first thing that reeled us in as fans, but then we learned so much more, and it’s only escalated from there. Here are just a few of our favorite features:
1.They’re all handmade in New Orleans.
2. All of the materials used to build Tchoup bags are sourced within the U.S. and as locally as possible. They take special pride in the materials that they source from other small businesses in our home state, Louisiana: alligator leather, custom stainless steel hook closures, hand loomed woven panels, misprinted rice bags, and re-purposed wool curtains.
3. Owner and visionary, Patti Dunn, is not only an outdoors lady, but she’s highly experienced in the industry as well.
4. They’re open and honest about everything that goes into manufacturing their products.
