When Pinterest first came out, girls jumped on the bandwagon immediately and started pinning away. Men, however, were not as enthusiastic about homemade body butter, makeup tips, and the “you go girl” inspirational posts. With that in mind, co-founders Glen Stansberry and Brian Mckinney set out to make the male counterpart of Pinterest, Gentlemint. Gentlemint is everything Pinterest promised to be, a community of members eager to share photos, advice, or anything else that’s relevant to their lives, but for men. On Gentlemint, the feminine posts are nowhere to be found. You’ll come across things such as: a drum set made of wine barrels, water balloon Russian roulette, a bullet chess set, and bacon pancakes. It’s interesting, and filled with testosterone, to say the least.
If you’re curious and want to try it out, visit Gentlemint for an invite to get started.
(Here’s a hint for the girls, Gentlemint is a great place to look for unique guy gifts.)
